11 Steps to Inner Joy, Healing and Awakening
1. Return to Joy: Utilizing universal principles of smiling and laughter we shall join in community and experience joy that is always there.
2. Remembering your own light: We are already enlightened, only we are distracted: In my almost 50 years experience in the spiritual world of awakening, I was taught that we must seek enlightenment. In this journey I have realized that we are all the same at our core, born in light and love and purity and by remembering our soul’s essence and experiencing the light that we already are is more efficient, compassionate and true rather than seeking this awakening from outside of us.
3. Inner Silence: Being in the “Zone” in sports or “Shuniya” in Kundalini Yoga. Contemplative meditative awareness. To meditate without meditating is the beautiful gift that I was able to cultivate with tools from my teachers. (It took me decades to remember that I already had this, that they did not give me this inner state.)
4. Intuitive Spiritual Practice: Once size does not fit all! When 10 people have heartbreak, their patterns and story and belief system are all different, so doing the same meditation for all 10 will have some benefit but may not change the root of the pattern that is causing the suffering. Let’s find and heal the 10 unique roots of the individuals.
5. You are your own teacher: Learn tools to find your own truth within and utilize the abundant external tools. Create your own self assessment of before, during and after your practice so you know what works and does not work for you. Observe and analyze how much of your power you give over to another person, whether it is a religious leader, spiritual guide, mentor or coach. Explore old belief systems of power and giving your power to another human being deemed “better” or more enlightened than yourself.
6. Kundalini: Connect with your own inner potential and vitality Using Breathwork and movement to find your own practice that works for you. How to have an efficient effective spiritual practice. How to observe your own self if your practice is working for YOU. Historically, Jesus Christ was practicing Kundalini Yoga, as were Sadhus in caves in Tibet, India and around the world for thousands of years. They learned to utilize their bodies, breath and mind to achieve awakening.
7. Inner Freedom: Freeing oneself from your story (past) - Who are we without our story? Our past? Our relationships? Our bank account? Our profession? Who are you as an essence..?
8. Acceptance: Honoring all religions, teachers, and spiritual beings and guides. Merging the truth of Guru Nanak “ There is one God” and unconditional love of Jesus Christ. Make peace within the roots of your religious beliefs or misbeliefs and allow acceptance of all others.
9. Healing Map: Creating your own bespoke Healing Map for YOU. Healing is ongoing and circular not linear and start or complete
10. Stress to Joy: Trauma, and chronic illness to Joy How to assess your own stress pattern, as each of us have very different reactions to stress and how we hold the past in our body and chakra system.
11. Radical Forgiveness: How we can start to forgive 2% at a time to unwind the anger, resentment and bitterness of things done to us by others.
